Excerpt from Chapter 2 of The Christian Marriage Combination

In The Christian Marriage Combination I devote a chapter to dating. Too often, people forget to have fun when dating. They get too caught up in other agendas. If you are dating for fun, you might just find someone that is special and your relationship with that person could evolve into a long term relationship. Or, you may also decide that marriage is something to consider. We all should have the ability to put our stake in the ground that boldly and clearly states our hobbies, interest, and subjects we like, and things we like to do for fun. We can find people to date that have either similar interests or those that are complimentary to ours (perhaps think yin and yang of hobbies). There is someone for everyone, regardless of what you like to do. Just do what you enjoy, and find friends, even ones to date, that enjoy those things too. Dating does not have to be complicated. It should be fun.

Excerpt from Chapter 1 of The Christian Marriage Combination

In The Christian Marriage Combination I discuss how marriage is a covenant that is not meant to be broken. This book is meant to solidify the importance of marriage and the importance that God places on marriage throughout scripture. Those considering marriage or those already married will receive direction to lead them to stability in their marriage.

Scripture from the Old Testament and New Testament are referenced throughout the book. Two of the cornerstone verses for the book are below.

“Find a good spouse, you find a good life – and even more: the favor of God!” (Proverbs 18:22 MSG)

“For I hate divorce!” says the Lord, the God of Israel… (Malachi 2:16 NLT)
